The mob has no name in Tamale or Walewale

The mob has no name when they kill innocent civilians

The mob only has a name when they kill a soldier

Else it becomes the usual default foolish case for the state

Denkyira Obuasi mob, woe unto you!!

For you are now the byword among Ghanaian mobs

Referred to by the other many guilty innocent mobs

Why did you kill a Captain? Why did you not verify his claim?

Was it because you didn’t want to find out the truth? Or was he too young to be a captain?

Was it because the devil found work for your ideal hands? Or were you just fated?

Hmmm, woe to you Denkyira Obuasi mob, for betraying us
